We are so excited to have you in! We understand this is either a brand new experience for you or a familiar experience
at a new place and we want you to feel excited before you even walk in the doors for the first time. Here at Ability,
elevating Chiropractic to a new standard is our mission and we are so looking forward to showing you who we are.
When you first walk into one of our offices you will likely immediately feel this is going to be a unique experience compared
to any past healthcare visits. Our offices are bright, welcoming, and usually filled with joy, laughter, and conversation. We
want this space to feel like your local coffee shop where they always remember your order. Except in this case, we know
your unique health needs like the back of our hands and get to work with you and your body's natural abilities to get you
feeling your best.
Quick house keeping thing: We ask you fill out the health history and intake forms online. If for some reason that doesn’t
work for you, we ask you arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment to get them filled out.
Once you are here and checked in we will give you a full tour of the space. We want you to feel at home and comfortable
right away. Then, you will meet with one of our doctors for your initial consultation. Here you have the floor to talk about any
pain or health concerns you are experiencing. You and the doctor will spend time getting to know each other to take the
first steps on your care plan.
From there most people will start with x-rays to get a clear picture of your spine and what is going on inside. In our offices, we have a state of the art fully computerized digital x-ray suite. These digital pictures help us develop the most effective care plan for you, and alert us of any serious underlying conditions that may affect your health or your ability to be safely adjusted. It is important to have a clear picture of your unique spine before we get started. Assuming all of our patients are in the same place and have the same needs is not what we’re about.
If the doctor sees no immediate concerns, you will have your first adjustment that day! We know the power of chiropractic as well as the endless ability of your body and we want to waste no time getting that dynamic duo working together. Your doctor will walk you through every step of the way and make sure any questions you have are thoroughly answered. Your doctor is also there to listen to you. Making sure you feel heard is not something we take lightly.
Congrats, you completed the first big step to feeling so much better! From here you will be scheduled for a return appointment at which time we will show you your x-ray's and exam findings as well as give you our best recommendations. We prefer this to be as soon as possible following your first appointment, possibly even the next day. Adjustments build on each other and we like to get momentum started right away.
